The installation timeline depends on the size of the project, site preparation requirements, and finishing options. Smaller commercial floors can be completed in a few days, while larger warehouse or industrial floors may take longer due to curing time and project scale.
Commercial pricing depends on square footage, slab thickness, the load the floor has to carry, and site access, so unlike our residential slabs it is quoted per project rather than published as a flat rate. What you get is one written, itemized quote covering excavation, base, reinforcement, concrete and finishing, with any site specific work named as its own line.
Usually, yes. Large floors can be poured in phases, and pours can be scheduled for nights, weekends, or slower periods so your business keeps running. We plan the sequence around your workflow at the site visit, and that schedule goes in writing so you know exactly which areas are offline and for how long.
That is what the spec is for. We pour thickness and reinforcement matched to the actual loads, whether that is foot traffic, forklifts, pallet racking, or standing machinery. Tell us the heaviest thing going on the floor and where at the estimate, and we build the slab to carry it instead of guessing.
Concrete takes time to reach strength no matter who pours it. Light foot traffic is usually fine within a few days, but heavy equipment, racking loads, and vehicle traffic need to wait until the slab has cured properly.
Concrete moves, so the goal is controlling where it cracks, not pretending it will not. We cut control joints on a proper grid and on time, pour over a base compacted to depth, and reinforce the slab so shrinkage and load do not turn into random cracks. The joint plan is part of what we walk you through before the pour.
It depends on the environment. A sealer or hardener helps in high traffic and dusty conditions, and the slab can be finished ready for epoxy or a polished system if that is the plan. We will tell you honestly whether your space needs a coating or whether a sealed concrete floor does the job, rather than upselling a finish you do not need.
We proudly provide professional concrete contractor services throughout the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oshawa, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oakville, and Pickering. Our team installs durable concrete driveways, patios, slabs, and walkways for homeowners across these communities.
