Our slab pricing is published right on this site, starting at $3,200 for a 100 sq ft pad and running to $6,200 for a 400 sq ft double garage size. A typical single driveway lands between $4,000 and $6,500 depending on access, disposal and the condition of what is under it. Most contractors will not put numbers on a website. We do, because the surprise on the doorstep is the part of this trade homeowners hate most.

Every published price includes the same six things: excavation and soil removal, a compacted gravel base for stability and drainage, forming and site prep, wire mesh reinforcement, supply and placement of 5 inch concrete, and professional finishing and curing. When a cheaper quote arrives, ask which of those six it removed, because the price difference always lives in one of them.

The site visit and written estimate happen within days of your call. Most residential projects are one to three days on site: teardown and base work, then the pour and finishing. After that the concrete cures, and we leave you written instructions covering when you can walk on it, park on it, and seal it. Scheduling depends on the season, and we tell you the real timeline at the estimate, not a hopeful one.

Almost always because of what you cannot see in the finished photos: a thin pour on a weak base with no reinforcement. Southern Ontario freezes and thaws dozens of times each winter, and concrete survives that only with the right mix, a base compacted to depth, control joints cut on time, and sealing. Cheap installs skip those steps, and the driveway tells on them by year three. Ours do not skip them, which is why we put the thickness and base depth in writing on every estimate.
