The old path had settled against the garden bed and was pitching water back toward the house. We dug it out, compacted a gravel base, formed and reinforced it, then placed 5 inch concrete with a broom finish and cut joints at even spacing.

A worn section of apron in front of the dock door was cut out and replaced. Full excavation, compacted granular base, wire mesh through the pour and 5 inch concrete, placed and finished in a single day so the bay was back in use quickly.
Springdale
Soil was excavated and a gravel base compacted below the slab for drainage, then wire mesh laid and 5 inch concrete placed. The surface was power trowelled to a hard, smooth finish that takes a coating later on.
